About the Project:
“It’s PrEP Bitch,” aimed at dismantling stigma surrounding HIV prevention medication while fostering a more inclusive dialogue about sexual health. In a bold move to address the lack of open sexual education in many households and cultures, the campaign seeks to raise awareness and promote safe-sex practices for all individuals.
At the heart of the campaign lies a mission to showcase diversity and inclusion in a welcoming manner, fostering a sense of community among sexually active individuals. To achieve this, The PrEP Clinic has enlisted a dynamic lineup of talent, including three queens from Canada Drag Race – Jada, Tynomi, and Boa, along with the renowned South Asian female DJ, Lady Pista. Additionally, the campaign features the founders of Your Dance Class, Sarah and Sorina, alongside Sean, Shazad, and Evan, all prominent figures in the arts and performance industry.
The campaign’s centerpiece is a captivating song and music video, paying homage to the rich history of music and dance in uniting communities. Drawing inspiration from powerful movements such as Jazz and Vogue, “It’s PrEP Bitch” aims to empower individuals to reclaim their sexual freedom and embrace acceptance without fear.

Recent data trends highlight a significant shift in HIV transmission rates, with a decline in cases among Male-to-male sexual contacts from 50.6% in 2012 to 39.71% in 2021, juxtaposed against an increase in cases through Heterosexual contact from 30.2% in 2012 to 33.8% in 2021. Additionally, it is to note that 1 in 4 new HIV cases are reported in women. The PrEP Clinic recognizes the urgency to adapt and engage in conversations that embrace diversity and inclusivity across all sexual orientations.
Results:
The ‘It’s PrEP, Bitch’ campaign knocked it out of the park, earning widespread praise from the community and driving a 51% surge in website traffic. Walk-in patients increased by 71%, and the client celebrated their first-ever Applied Arts Award in Advertising. The campaign’s reel became the most successful and engaging post on their Instagram, leading to a follower growth of over 1,000.
